Background

 

In January a Swedish delegation visited Somaliland to identify opportunities for investment and the country’s need of intervention and Help. Now we invite you to a highly interesting afternoon with Somaliland in focus.

Somaliland expands and have a good economic growth and seeking help, especially with knowledge transfer and investor from Sweden. This call is directed to you which we think may be interested by new challenges. Everything from investment, business opportunities, infrastructure, town-twinning schemes and tourism to knowledge transfer and efforts from NGOs. You get a unique opportunity to, among other things, meet and talk with the country’s vice planning minister and other Ministers and leaders.

At the seminar meets you in addition to the delegation that tells of the journey, including Ministers and representatives from the Government and Somaliland authorities. You get also information about grant opportunities and investment opportunities for action in Somaliland.

Short facts:

Somaliland has worked as an independent country sedan1991 and has one of the most developed democracies in Africa with free choice of both the president, Government and local municipal governments. Country have a minimum of violence, are free from terrorist activities and a fully developed democracy built on the UN Convention on people’s equal value and freedom of religion. Somaliland has yet this has still not been recognized by the Swedish State and is regarded as a region in Somalia.
